Welcome to Orland Open MRI

Welcome to Orland Open MRI.
Orland Open MRI was opened in 1996 by MMI, LLC. Our goal at Orland Open MRI is to ensure comfort and quality care to our patients in a timely manner.

What is an MRI?
"A non-invasive procedure that produces a two-dimensional view of an internal organ or structure."

MRI stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This painless, diagnostic tool uses a magnetic field and radio waves to see inside the body without using radiation.

To produce an MRI image, the patient's body is placed in a strong magnetic field, prompting certain atoms in the body to produce radio signals that can be detected by special equipment in the MRI machine. A computer then creates an image of the part of the body under study.
